Transforming Attendance from Compliance to Connection

Essential training to shift mindsets, spark action, and build a culture of purposeful attendance.

Across the UK, school attendance is under pressure, from rising cases of emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA) to increasing staff absence and disengagement. But tackling these challenges isn’t just about systems, sanctions, or slogans. It’s about culture.

The Attendance Culture Programme is a strategic, whole-school professional development and consultancy offer designed to embed a values-led, psychologically safe approach to attendance across the school community.

Developed by a specialist in mental health, wellbeing, and educational engagement, and aligned with the Government’s attendance guidance, The Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill, and the Gatsby Benchmarks, this programme goes beyond improving attendance rates it shifts the way school feels for everyone.

Because real attendance is not just about showing up.

It’s about belonging, purpose, and readiness for life.
